Painting
Interior and exterior painting with the preparation work that makes the finish last.

Hero photo — a finished painting job.
Nine tenths of a paint job is preparation. Filling, sanding, cleaning down, priming bare and patched areas — that is what determines whether the finish still looks good in five years or starts flaking in eighteen months.
We paint interiors and exteriors, and can repair the cracked cornice or rotten fascia before painting rather than covering it up.

Painting — common questions
How long does painting a house take?
A typical three-bedroom interior is around 4 to 6 days depending on how much trim and how many colour changes. Exteriors depend heavily on the weather and on how much preparation the surfaces need.
What if my house was built before 1970?
Homes painted before the late 1970s may contain lead paint. Sanding it back releases lead dust, which is a genuine health hazard. If we suspect lead we stop and advise on testing and safe removal rather than sanding through it.
Do you help with colour choice?
Yes. We will talk through options and recommend sampling on the actual wall — colours read completely differently under Queensland light than they do on a chip in a store.
